  • If you don't know your current password, ensure you know your Password Reset Email Address (see the section above) and you will need to reset your password from a KW login page (see the bottom of this article).

To ensure the security of your KW account, it's essential to create a strong password that is not easily guessable. Follow these guidelines to create a strong password and avoid receiving an error message when resetting your credentials:
  • Passwords must conform to the following criteria:
  • Be at least 12 characters (and under 255)
  • Contain one uppercase letter
  • Contain one lowercase letter
  • Contain one number
  • Contain one symbol. Example: ~!@#%$
  • Not be the same, or too similar, as the last 4 passwords
  • Not use common phrases or information
  • Consider using a passphrase:
    • A passphrase utilizes letters and numbers to remember a longer phrase.
    • Example: Move from E to P is my favorite of the 6 Personal Perspectives! could be mFE2piMfot6PP!
  • Avoid using vulnerable passwords:
    • Examples of vulnerable passwords contain pet names, common words, personally meaningful dates, and locations.
    • Any information that is easily found on social media can make your passwords vulnerable.

  • Follow best practices:
    • Don’t use the same passwords for all accounts
    • Don’t reuse passwords
    • Don't collect or share passwords using a shared spreadsheet
    • Use a password manager or password vault to generate and store passwords
    • Change your passwords every 90 days
